Remote Assist is planned as a consent-aware session workflow tied to the service record—not a generic, silently recorded video room.

Designed for visible control

Participants see session and recording state. Invites are authenticated and expire. Access to live media, recordings, transcripts, downloads, shares, and deletion is permissioned and audited.

Recording remains off by default. Provider eligibility, contractual terms, retention, consent, encryption, and tenant profile must be ready before it can be enabled.

  • Approved WebRTC/video provider and credentials
  • Recording consent and retention decision
  • Tenant permissions and subscription entitlement
  • HIPAA-eligible provider/BAA path when PHI mode applies
